The touch your business needs: mobile-to-mobile payments

Safer, more accessible, and saves on business expenses

"I don't feel comfortable asking for a card number out loud in the middle of a lesson"

Safer

The charge is processed using EMV technology (the same standard as an ATM or payment terminal) and meets the strict security standards of credit card transactions. No one dictates numbers out loud, and the card details are not saved on your end.

"I'm on the road all day, not near a computer or a payment terminal"

More accessible

Process payments anywhere and anytime, from the phone already in your pocket. In the car at the end of the lesson, in the parking lot by the student's house, or in the classroom after an internal pre-test check, without carrying equipment and without going back to the office.

Anywhere and anytimeNo extra equipment in the carNo returning to the office

"A payment terminal costs money, and I need one for every instructor"

Saves business expenses

The phone already in the instructor's pocket is the terminal. There is no dedicated equipment to buy, no device to keep in every car and nothing to maintain. The payment goes through immediately like a regular payment terminal, the receipt is generated automatically and recorded in the student's file.

"The lesson cost more than 300 ₪ and I have no way to charge on the spot"

With a digital wallet: no amount limit

When the student pays with a digital wallet (Apple Pay or Google Pay), there is no transaction limit. This is the fastest and most secure method, and it solves the issue of lesson packages and large payments that do not fit under the physical card limit.

The safe way to prevent chargebacks

A tap transaction is considered a card-present transaction, so it meets the strictest security standards and reduces exposure to chargebacks. ⁧*⁩ The services do not protect against good-faith disputes.

"I have several instructors, and students who come to pay at the office"

Tap to pay at the school and with every instructor

Tap-to-pay does not have to stay in one car. A driving school can activate tap-to-pay on several devices, and every instructor can have tap-to-pay on their phone, so you can charge at the end of the lesson and also when the student or parent comes to the office.

Digital wallets and all payment methods

The student pays however is convenient for them: credit card, digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay, Bit, PayBox, or bank transfer. Every method goes to the same place in the system, and a document is generated for each one.

"The driving test fee is another separate payment I have to chase"

Fees are also collected by credit card

The driving test fee and internal pre-test check fee are charged by credit card like any other payment, and are recorded in the student's profile. Everything sits in the same place, with no side collections and no manual tracking.

FAQ

What are phone-to-phone payments?
A service that lets you collect tap-to-pay payments directly on the instructor's phone, with no separate card reader. The phone itself acts as a secure point of sale for in-person transactions.
Who is this for?
For instructors and driving schools who charge the student on the spot (in the car, at the end of the lesson, or after an internal pre-test check) and do not want to carry a terminal or type card numbers.
How does it actually work?
You initiate a tap-to-pay charge and enter the amount. The student taps their card or digital wallet to the instructor's phone, and once approved, the payment is recorded and documents are generated automatically.
How do I join the service?
Request payment processing from within the system with one click. Grow sends the driving-school owner a signup form via SMS, the school is opened as a business, and after approval, payment processing is turned on for you, without downloading anything separately.
Which devices are supported?
On the instructor's side: Android only, with NFC and a stable internet connection. On the student's side, they can pay with any card or device that supports tap-to-pay, including an iPhone with Apple Pay.
Can tap-to-pay be used on multiple devices?
Yes. A driving school can enable tap-to-pay on several devices, and every instructor can have tap-to-pay on their own phone.
Is there an amount limit?
With a physical credit card: up to ₪300 per transaction. With a digital wallet, like Apple Pay or Google Pay, there is no amount limit. For over ₪300 on a physical card, you can send a payment link.
How much does mobile-to-mobile payment cost?
The Grow tap-to-pay subscription costs 29 ₪ a month per instructor charging from their phone, in addition to the regular card payment processing fee. There is no equipment to buy and no setup fee.
Does this protect me from chargebacks?
A tap transaction is a card-present transaction, so it meets the strictest security standards and reduces exposure to chargebacks. The services do not protect against good-faith disputes.
